Living Your Life By Design

No comments :
Do you wake up each day and feel like you are simply reacting to what life is throwing at you, or do you wake up each day and feel like you are creating your life?

There are practically only two ways to live your life... either By Default (as a reactor) or By Design (as a creator).

Sadly, a large number of folks live over 90% of their life by default, being too afraid to experiment and accepting whatever life brings their way - in other words, "Life just happens to them"

Creators, are the set of people who have at some point decided to break the limit by choosing what they want out of life.

By default, at every team meeting, I would report on every system failure that affects the team works, but by design, I resolved to discuss at least one alternative step forward. THAT's MY STYLE, every designer has one.

When I’m frustrated, it’s often because I’m in reactive mode. I’m just reacting to the circumstances I find myself in. And that’s when you default on life. When I’m feeling fulfilled, it’s usually because I’m proactive. I’m going after goals or executing a plan or living out my priorities and most times I'm getting very positive results.

Life can only freely give you an average, if you want to break that record you will have to go for it.

But, until you decide what you want and where you are heading, life will bring you anything and take you anywhere without your permission.

In a wrap, if you wish to break that record, drop life's default manual and start living your life by design, Your Design!

I value you

Its High Time You Raised Your Standard!

No comments :
You are too caring... and I think it's time for you to raise your standard.

Dear friend,

Have you found yourself in a situation where you care so much about people around you that you are too scared to even grow, because you might be leaving them behind? Sometimes we naively think we are trying to help - but the truth is that you cannot help if you are not better.

Raising your standard is one vital leap from where you are to the very next level but with the wrong attitude we often define this as an exercise of pride, but until you decide and raise your standard, you will sadly remain where you are.

So my dear stop being so wrongly concerned, if you really want to reach that height of fulfillment... You've Got To Raise Your Standard

Have a great week ahead!

4 THINGS KINGS DON'T DO - Emmanuel D. Osoteku

No comments :

Hello Dearest, Today, I will be sharing something outside the box with you, tagged "4 THINGS KINGS DON'T DO ".

Well, am happy to announce to you that, Sunday was my younger brother's birthday. OSOTEKU OLUWATOBILOBA. A Man of Valor. Happy Birthday Sir.

However, During my self-assesment program, i discovered that i was made a king. Well, this got me thinking. I found out during my deep study; that my God has made me king and priest to reign on this earth. (see Rev 5-10). Then, I asked my self, who is a king? And i found out that "A king is a person that excersises authority and power over a particuliar teritary or geographical location".

Well, permit me to share with you 4 things kings do not do?.

1. KINGS DO NOT WALK ARROUND ANYHOW: Kings are highly reserved and they walk by invitations. Hardly for you to see the king of lagos in anyhow event or party, they only function by invitation and not assumptions.

2. KINGS DON'T CHOOSE ORDINARY FRIENDS: Firstly, who are your friends?. Reserch shows that 75% of your life today, is a reflextion of your association with people. So what people do you walk with? Well, as for me i walk with kings. kings chooses kings as friends and partners.

3. KINGS DON'T DRESS ANYHOW: This is very salient for kings. As the saying goes: "Dress the way you want to be addressed". People see a king before they hear a king. I taught you yesterday, that: people see you before they hear you. Make a decision to always look good and you will be glad that you did. Lastly,

4. KINGS DO NOT MARRY SLAVES: Well, this might sounds somehow, but that the truth. they have standards for whome to marry. No matter your achievments in life, when you engaged yourself in a wrong relationship, you trend to lose everything. Create a standard for yourself and will have no choice than to create one for herself too.

in conclusion, if God has made us kings, he expects us to possess these characteristics. We are to reign here on earth and not just in heaven. Utilize this opportunity and make everyday of your life count.

Thank You,
Do have a wonderful week.

YOUR ASSOCIATION AND YOUR FUTURE - Emmanuel D. Osoteku

1 comment :

Hello Dearest, Hoping you had a great time yesterday. Well, Your future has been my deepest concern over the years now. Yesterday, during evangelism(My Fathers Business , i met with some folks whom the Holy Spirit prompted me to talk to them about "YOUR ASSOCIATION AND YOUR FUTURE". I think these might help you also. Here are the timeless advice i gave to them. Choose your friends and Don't allow your friends to choose you. We all have to come to the reality that; we are as good as your association. Someone, once said 'show me your friends and i will tell you who you are'. Well, that might some good but does not hit the nail on the head. Here is the right saying ' SHOW ME YOUR FRIENDS AND I WILL TELL YOU YOUR FUTURE'. However, we have to be selective while choosing our friends. 'Those who are not Selective, can't be Effective'. In my today's post, i will be sharing with you 4 KINDS OF FRIENDS YOU MUST BE AWARE OF: 1. Friends who PLUS (+) YOUR LIFE: These kind of friends are those who add value to you, not just any value but positive values. The are additions to your future. They seek for ways to make you better. They can also be known as positive value contributors. 2. Friends who MINUS (-) YOUR LIFE: These kinds of friends are also known as PARASITE. if you are a bit familiar to Biology when you were in secondary school, you will remember that; Parasite are living organism, who feeds on their hosts to survive. Well, whether you like it or not, you have some parasite as friends. Let me give you more hints about these kind of friends. They posses this Give me, Give me Attitude. They only seek for what to get but never think of what to give. 3. Friends who DIVIDED ( / ) YOUR LIFE: Well, these category of friends are known as what the scripture refers to DOUBLE MINDED PEOPLE. These are friends who makes you indecisive. They take you to church on Sunday morning and on Sunday evening they still take you to club house. Sometimes, you tell them your secret but they go behind you to destroy your image. They are UNSTABLE AS WATER. Beware of them. 4. Lastly, Friends who MULTIPLIES (*) YOUR LIFE: These are my best category of friends. They are known as life transformers. They take you from where you are to where you ought to be. Simple arithmetic shows that 5+5 is not the same as 5*5. The former gives you 10 but the later gives you 25. Learn from all categories but select the two best + and * as covenant friends. Permit me to end with this word from Myles Monroe which says " The quality of your decisions determine the quality of your life". MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS TODAY. Thank You. Do have a Wonderful Day.

The IGI team decided to carry out one of our objectives to reach-out to young lives who might have lost hope for their future, reactivating their dreams and ambition for a better tomorrow.  and this move was a success as the IGI team visited "SO-SAID" a home/facility for the less privileged and sick, and with words and some materials we got for these ones the day was made for us and for the whole house, who were excited to have us around.
